A few months ago, cloud communications company Telesphere (News - Alert) boldly told TMCnet that 2011 is the year of the cloud. Now, a ground-breaking announcement from the company today is certainly an example of that prediction.
In a move to transform the way businesses interact with and support their customers, Telesphere andCosmoCom (News - Alert)have joined together to bring to market a cloud-based, zero-capital expenditure suite of contact center management services and tools to U.S. businesses.
This partnership between Telesphere and CosmoCom, an Enghouse (News - Alert) Interactive company specializing in cloud-based contact center solutions, will now enable businesses and contact center operations to easily, cost-effectively and rapidly implement voice, e-mail and chat-based support services for a better customer experience.
“Contact centers are the latest example of how Telesphere is partnering with leaders such as CosmoCom to enable the global trend toward hosted business communications services,” said Sanjay Srinivasan, CTO of Telesphere, in a press release.
Now on display at Telesphere’s booth at ITEXPO West, TMC’s (News - Alert)communications conference and expo being held through Thursday, Sept. 15, in Austin, Texas, this new interaction management suite includes an array of hosted contact center applications and advanced tools. In addition to e-mail, VoIP and chat, the portfolio is packed with skills-based routing; cradle-to-grave reporting to track every customer interaction; an intuitive, graphical call-flow designer; a 100-percent Web-based design with no need for client software; the ability to bolt on third-party reporting tools; and support for whisper and DNIS.
“Powered by CosmoCom, Telesphere’s new, completely cloud-based contact center solution enables businesses and contact center operators to implement advanced tools quickly and without the need for a six-figure investment in premises-based hardware and software,” said Srinivasan. In addition, the suite’s cloud-based design also promises “manageable, predictable OpEX,” which will enable businesses and contact center operators to cost-effectively scale up quickly, Srinivasan added.
“Cloud-based solutions are a powerful new option for contact centers, and Telesphere was a natural choice for bringing those solutions to businesses and contact center operators,” said Steve Dellutri, CosmoCom creator and CTO.
